SHACKLEFORD, Jr., Lester "Junnie" Age 77 of Dayton and formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Born May 24, 1935 to the late and beautiful Lester and G. Anna N. Shackleford Sr. He was a longtime faithful and obedient member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA were he served in the church choir and hospitality department. A Vietnam Veteran, who honorably served in the United States Army and Reserve. He retired from Greyhound Bus Co. after many years of service as a bus driver. He was preceded in death by parents, Lester and G. Anna N. Shackleford Sr., brother Jackie A. Shackleford, sister Frances L. Shackleford all of Dayton and daughter, Brenda D. Terry of Fayetteville, NC. He is survived by sister, Jacqueline A., brothers, Bert (Charlotte), Arthur, Ronald (Lynn),Phillip, Michael, and Anthony (Delores) Shackleford all of Dayton, Ohio. Devoted niece, LaRonna (Dale) Richardson of Washington,DC and devoted granddaughter, Queenie Nathaniel of Fayetteville, NC and host of Family and Friends. Visitation, Friday May 31, 4pm to 7pm at H. H. Roberts Funeral Home 38 S. Gettysburg Ave Dayton, Ohio. Home-going service, Sat June 1, 11:00 am Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church 1501 W. Dr. MLK Jr., Way, Dayton, Ohio, with Pastor Brenda S. Moore, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to home-going service. Interment: Dayton National Cemetery.
