WILSON, Rev. William, Jr. 87, of Dayton, Ohio peacefully went home Nov. 9, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. William was born Dec. 11, 1925 to William and Bertha Wilson in Portsmouth, OH where he attended elementary and high school. William served his country in the United States Army from 1945-1965, he retired as an E-5 Master Sergeant. He met his wife in 1944, and had 5 children. Rev. Wilson was a dedicated member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church from 1976 until the time of his passing. Rev. William Wilson Jr. is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Dorothy, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Garnet, and brother Vernon. Three children, and two granchildren. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 68 years Jeannette, three children, Theresa, Johnathan, and William III. 11 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, special friends, and church family. Funeral Services will be 12:00 Noon, Friday, November 15, 2013 at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 3426 W. Second St. Pastor Therman C. Sampson II, Eulogist. The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until time of service. Masonic Memorial service at 10:30 A.M. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
