Eunice Farris received a call to her heavenly home on Sunday August 11, 2019 after a lengthy illness. She was a resident of Maria Joseph Nursing Home, Dayton, OH.
Eunice was born August 29, 1927 to Usher and Irene Richardson in Dayton, OH. She was an employee of the V.A. Medical Center Dayton, OH for 30 plus years. After her retirement in 1983, she moved to Chicago and lived with her daughter. She re-entered the workforce as an Executive Secretary at Thresholds in Chicago and worked for the Chief of psychiatry. Eunice worked an additional 20 years before retiring the second time. She returned to Dayton in 2018.
She held membership at the Goshen Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Illinois Conference, Chicago, Illinois.
Those who preceded Eunice in death were her father Usher Richardson; her mother Irene Richardson; her sister Jane Reynolds, a daughter Nannette Farris and a son Walter (Bo Bo) Farris, Jr.
Eunice leaves to cherish her memory and mourn her departure, her daughter Irene McFarland of Dayton; a brother Kenny Richardson (Connie Lawson) of Dayton; cousins Letitia Martin of Dayton, Harrison Martin, Jr. of Dayton; Johnette McKay of Chicago; Marla Madison of Chicago; Rashamon McKay of Chicago; a dear friend Anna Norvell of Dayton; devoted family friends Elmer Crigler of Chicago; Richard Wilson of Dayton, Adlesie Bush of Dayton, Deborah Curington of Dayton, and Sheldon Hampton of Cincinnati.
