Keith D. Clark Sr., passed away peacefully at Miami Valley Hospital on October 14, 2019. He was born December 6, 1952 to Clarence E. Clark Sr. and Gertrude I. Clark. Keith was the youngest of four children.
He graduated from Darby Township High School, where he played Varsity Football. He received an Associate Degree from Robert Morris College, Pittsburgh, PA.
Keith married his childhood sweetheart Paula R. Barnes, from this union two children were born Keith D. Clark, Jr. and Damon M. Clark.
He was an avid football fan, his favorite team was the beloved Philadelphia Eagles.
In 1979 Keith moved his family from Philadelphia to Dayton where he worked at Monarch Marking for 22 years. He had a spirit of entrepreneurship, from which he developed a partnership with Calvin D. Rutledge forming Rut's Inc. He worked for Trelevate LLC as a Training Manager for Energy, where he retired in June 2017, due to illness.
Keith was a Faithful member of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church. He was a member of the Vestry and the Brotherhood of St. Andrew. Keith was always willing to help anyone with anything when they needed him with a smile.
He was a dedicated Mason to the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Ohio where he was a member of Golden Square #26, Mt Hood Royal Arch, Brown-Burke Council, Wilson Commandery, Burning Bush Court #3, Miami Consistory #26, United Supreme Council, Hannibal Tabernacle #78 and York Cross of Honor. He was a member of Harmony Chapter #26 and served as Grand Worthy Patron of Amaranth Grand Chapter, Inc. from 2000- 2002 with PGWM Peggy Edwards.
He was preceded in death by his sister Clarisse Clark, Mother Gertrude Clark and Father Clarence E. Clark Sr.
He is survived by his wife Paula R. Clark, sons, Keith (Marcilla), Damon (Yvonne). Sister Denise (Julian), Brother Clarence (Joyce-deceased); seven grandchildren, Vincent, Chelsey, Jasmine, Keith, Cyrus, Laela and Chase. Three great-grandchildren Ziyah, Daniel and Yara and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
