Leon Walker Obituary

Leon Walker was born February 18, 1944, in Augusta, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Annie Mae Walker, one brother and one sister. He leaves to cherish loving memories his wife of 54 years, Marguerite and a son Derek; brothers James Lawrence (Janie) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Glenn (Priscilla) of Augusta, Georgia and Kevin of Augusta, Georgia; a host of nieces and nephews residing in Florida, California, Georgia and New York; Special son, Charles Scandrick of Dayton, Ohio; other relatives and friends.

He was a member of the National Urban League, NAACP, Leadership Dayton and NCCU Alumni. He graduated from North Carolina Central University earning a BS in Economics/ Finance and received an MBA from Wright State University. After 37 years he retired as Montgomery County Director of Human Resources. Final disposition cremation.
