Takaria Shenae Cameron, affectionately known as TK, age 38, was born in Dayton, Ohio to the proud parents of Lonnie and Wanda Cameron. She was educated in Jefferson Township Schools and later graduated from Meadowdale High School, Class of ‘1999. She also was a graduate of Sinclair Community College with a major in Criminal Justice. She worked at Miami Valley Hospital with over 10 years of service as a Nutrition Associate where she received numerous awards. She had a beautiful spirit and went above and beyond what was required to insure that her patient’s needs were met. She was dearly loved and her smile could light up her patient’s rooms. Takaria attended the Church of God and Saints of Christ as a young girl. She was brought up and blessed in the Church and sang in the Children’s Choir.
Takaria was outgoing, loved people especially children. She was a workaholic and spent most of her time at her place of employment. She enjoyed attending family gatherings, dancing, traveling, shopping and watching television.
On Sunday, September 8, 2019 Takaria Shenae Cameron transitioned from this life to be in the presence of the Lord. She was preceded in death by; grandparents, Joseph and Elgertha Connors; aunts, Norma Jean Finley and Winifred Connors; uncles, Kenny Baker, Jerome Harris and Jeffery Cameron; cousin Craig Connors.
Takaria leaves to cherish precious memories and celebrate her life; her loving and devoted parents, Lonnie and Wanda; grandmother, Hazel Ghand; aunts, Rosetta Wood and Janet Joppy; great-aunts, Ruth Harris and Genelle Baker; special cousins, Rochelle (Richard) Moore, Dawanna Hunt, Janet E. Joppy, Necia and Lisa Connors; 2nd cousins, Shenna Horton, Anthony, Blair, Stephen, Josiah, Jordan, Jeremiah, Joseph, Renard, Javlin and Elijah; special companion, Michael Beavers; numerous cousins and friends and Miami Valley Hospital family.
