Allen Richard Razor was born on June 13, 1927 in Owingsville, KY to Sherman and Rena Razor. Allen (Al) married the love of his life, Charlene in 1951. He served in the United States Army and retired from D.E.S.C. with 27 years of service as an Offset Pressman. Al was a faithful member of Canaan M.B.C. for over 50 years where he was a senior usher and held many other positions.
In his spare time Al enjoyed bowling where he has won countless trophies, reviewing his prized coin collection, tending to his farm and cows, and in his later years he enjoyed taking cruises and traveling with family.
On Sunday, December 20, 2020 Al answered the Lord’s call and transitioned from this life to his heavenly home. Al is survived by his loving and devoted wife Charlene of 69 years, a dedicated father to children Linda Hayes, Gloria Young, Wanda (Raymond) Guy, Richard (Robyn) Razor, and David (Cecelia)Razor. He will be missed by grandchildren Terrence (Eleanor), Chatoya, William (Nikki), Marcus (Robin), JaMise, RayeShaun (Diana), Ryanne (Donyea), LaKiesha (Sean), Clarence, Christopher, Jameca, Jazmyn, David II (Jerica), Cortne, Journee, Victor, Victoria, Dominque, and 31 great-grandchildren. Al is survived by brothers Bobby (Mae) Hodge, and Harold (Vanessa) Hodge and proceeded in death by 5 siblings. Also proceeded in death by beloved son Ernest Razor.
