Andrew Johnson, 81, devoted husband to deceased Carol Johnson, passed away on December 19, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. Born on February 7, 1944, in Nashville, Tennessee, Andrew lived a life marked by service, faith, and heartfelt dedication.

A proud United States Army veteran, Andrew served honorably during the Vietnam War from May 1966 to April 1968. His strong sense of duty extended beyond his military service, leading him to dedicate himself to his community as a volunteer officer with the Jefferson Township Police Department. His resilience and commitment were defining qualities that shaped his life and left a lasting impact on those around him.

Faith was a cornerstone of Andrew’s life. He was a devoted member of Freedom Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton, where he served as a deacon and offered quiet strength and spiritual support to his church family. His commitment to his beliefs served as a guiding light for many.

Andrew is lovingly survived by his brother Anthony Johnson; his sister in laws Nicola Johnson and Katherine Rollins, his nieces Jessica Johnson, Pateley Johnson, and Vanessa Jackson, his nephews Marcus Johnson, Mark Johnson, and Ralph Johnson. His warmth and kindness left lasting impressions on all who knew him.

Andrew's legacy endures through the love he shared and the strength he embodied
