Angela DaWanda (Smith) Lucky-Hall, Angie to all who knew her, was born on December 31, 1961. She transitioned to be with the Lord on March 5, 2025.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio to parents, Willie George Smith and Mary Frances Smith (Faison). She attended and graduated from Wilbur Wright High School. She attended St. John Missionary Baptist Church then Revelation Missionary Baptist Church where she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. She married US Marine Bradley Lucky her high school sweetheart. They moved to South Carolina, Camp Lejeune. This union produced no children. She returned to Dayton where she completed her coursework with honors and became an LPN. She worked in the field for many years until an injury curtailed her career.
Angela then married Timothy Hall in a ceremony where they had the time of their lives. She began work as a Victoria's Secret call center representative, where she was very successful. She had a heart for delighting her customers. Angela truly had a giving heart.
She was a caring mother, heavily involved in her children’s extracurricular activities. She loved cheering them on at every football game, cheerleading competition, and marching band performance. She made every child she met feel loved as she was known as “Momma Angie”. Angie loved to cook, dance, and spend time with her family especially her children. Angie was the life of the party.
Angela was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Mary Smith, Sister Jaqueline Studstill, and nephew Deshaun Studstill.
She leaves her beloved husband Timothy Hall, daughters Ronisha and DaRonda Woodley, and son Devon Smith. She also leaves one grandchild Lauren Miles, aunt Mosetta (Willie) Wynn, uncle Johnny Harrison (Brenda) Faison, brother Willie & Lynn (Podina) Smith and their children Andrew, Aaron and Audrey, nephews Willie (Ida) Studstill and Bryon (June) Studstill and host of other family members and friends.
Angela passed on quietly to her Lord and Savior at Carriage Inn of Dayton surrounded by people that loved and cared for her. Rest in peace Angela as you now dwell in the house of the Lord.
