Anna R. Harris
Obituary
Anna Rebecca Harris, age 94, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022. She was born August 31, 1927, in Cohutta, GA to the late Frank and Irene (Ware) Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Harris, daughter, Anita Tweedle, son and daughter-in-law, Douglas Hickman (Patricia), grandson, Brandon Tweedle, granddaughter, Freya Tweedle, brother and sister-in-law, Frank Jackson, Jr (Elfrieda), sister, Katherine Henderson, sister and brother-in-law Ada Clemmons (John), and brother, William Jackson.
Anna enjoyed quilting and cooking (she was awesome at both). She was a devoted member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as the Sunday School Treasurer and as a Trustee. She was employed by Pantorium Cleaners and worked as a cashier for many neighborhood markets.
Anna is survived by her grandson, Brian Tweedle (Julie), son-in-law, Roderick Harris (Pam), dear friends, Douglas Jefferies and Laura Stewart, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
