Barbara Johnson

Barbara J. Johnson (Weeks) 79, of Dayton, OH entered into the presence of the Lord on Thursday, September 30, 2021. She was born on August 15, 1942 in Dayton, OH. Barbara accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of Wayman AME Church. Barbara retired from Deuer Manufacture in 2003. She enjoyed life after retirement by spending time and making memories with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William E. Johnson; parents, JD Weeks and Katherine Weeks Wortham; Daughter-in-law, Katherine Y. Venable-Johnson; brothers, Joseph, Terry, and Carl Michael Weeks; sister Josephine Gilmore. She leaves to cherish her devoted children: Glenda (Tracy) Johnson-Sumlin, Gina, and Terence (TJ) Johnson; grandchildren: Tory, Nesha, Patresse, ShaKyia, Terence and Lajae; great-grandchildren: Caiden, Roman, Sirenity, and CiMyiah; siblings; Judith Gregory, Rudolph Weeks, Antoinette (Bobby) White, Yvonne Weeks; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
