Bennie Mae Dawson

Mother Bennie Mae Dawson of Dayton, Ohio departed this life on April 25, 2022 at Cypress Point Nursing Home.  She was a native of Valdosta, Georgia. She had been preparing for this great homegoing event most of her life. Her maker said, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” She was a dedicated prayer warrior!!!

Mother Dawson was preceded in death by her parents: Bennie and Lottie Jones, the love of her life husband: Luther Dawson, siblings: Rosetta Black, Ophelia Queen, Susie Edmondson, Julia Freeman and Lottie Mae Gill.

She leaves behind a loving daughter & son-in-law: Bernice D. (Kenneth) Pinkard, grandson, who she affectionately called her Sweet Sweet, Brian (Sierra) Pinkard; loving brother, Frank (Martha) Jones of Valdosta, Georgia, devoted nephew Junie (Betty) Norton, other nephews Bill Jones of San Diego, California, David Edmondson of New York, nieces, Gwendolyn Allen, Belinda Billingsley. Special care giver Deanna Hamlet. A host of loving family and friends and many spiritual children who needed guidance in the way of holiness!
