Beverly A. Pinkard Obituary

Beverly Ann Miller Pinkard went home to be with Lord on January 24, 2024 after a short illness. Beverly Ann was born on July 30, 1941 to Leroy and Bette Miller in Dayton, Ohio. Both parents  and her brother Michael preceded  her in death, Beverly was the eldest of three siblings and was a loving older sister. Beverly graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in 1959. She served as an officer of the class and relished the reunions and fellowship. Beverly worked at General Motors and retired after twenty five years in 1996.

Beverly married Beotis Pinkard in 1960, To this union was born three children, Bridgett, Brian and Bradd. Beverly surrendered her life to the Lord in 1986 and joined Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Beverly worked for the Lord as a Greeter, President of Pastor' Aide and Kitchen Committee, and The Fellowship Growth Group. She was known for giving “the holy kiss”.  That was a part of her loving spirit. Beverly was known for her friendly and loving spirit. Her home was always open and welcoming. She was a great cook and would feed everyone. Her home was always filled with laughter, fun and love.

Beverly leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Bridgett Daniels, Brian and Bradd (Erica) Pinkard, grandchildren Derrick (Jacqueline), Quincy (Rachelle) Daniels and Brianna Pinkard. five  great grandchildren, Jayden, Braylon, Derrick III, Janae Beverly, Jaleah.  Her brother Tyree Miller (Rozita), nieces & nephews Alexander, Langston, Malee Miller & Sonja Leigh. Sisters in law, Rebecca Pinkard, Benita Patterson (Curtis), cousin, William Miller, Special friends, Margaret Ann Hudson, Regina Kennedy, Steve Cooper, Arthur Winfrey, Wilma Allen, and a host of relatives, loved ones and friends.
