Bobbie Hardy Brunson Obituary

Bobbie Jean Hardy Brunson was born on July 21, 1941, to the union of Clyde and Lula Hardy. She was the youngest of seven children. Bobbie was a devoted Christian, who infused her faith into daily life. She was loving, kind, patient, forgiving and generous. She never met a stranger and had a healthy sense of humor accompanied by an infectious laugh. Bobbie was an exceptional woman and mother. She frequently was the go-to person among her friends and coworkers for advice, assistance of various sorts and support.


Bobbie attended Roosevelt High School, Cosmetology School and Sinclair Community College. She worked at the Veterans Administration Center as a Nursing Assistant, and worked for many years as a Home Health Care Provider. She always provided quality care to her patients and was loved by their families. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed sewing and attempting to win Family Feud.


On August 3, 2024, at Soin Medical Center, Bobbie peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord. She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Clyde Hardy Jr., Nathaniel Hardy Sr., Ledell Hardy, Willie Hardy Sr., John Hardy, Margie Hardy. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving daughter, Angela Montgomery and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
