Bryan Flucas Obituary

Bryan Flucas was born on September 15, 1970 in Dayton, Ohio. He was united in marriage for 15 years to Kelli Flucas. Their wedding anniversary was on Thursday, November 12, 2020 one day before Bryan entered into the Kingdom. Bryan and Kelli had a very special relationship that was built on both love and friendship. Their love was unconditional and together they built and strong and loving family.  He has seven children Bryan, Michael, Brandon, Brynea, Kellah, Kyllah and Bryson they were the center of his universe. His love for them transcends this side of Heaven!  Bryan was a SUPER proud graduate of Dunbar High School Class of 1989 graciously and lovingly known as “89 Love.”

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dorothy W. and James Flucas; and great aunt Richie E. Weaver.

Bryan has been a resident of Dayton, Ohio for 50 years and was a faithful and devoted member of Hill Street Missionary Baptist Church. He loved football and was a devout Chicago Bears fan.  He was extremely proud of his family and devoted to his children. Bryan was a gentle giant that could make anyone laugh. He had the greatest sense of humor and loved “cracking” on everybody and would lovingly end every conversation by saying “Word.” His witty sense of humor made him the life of the party. Bryan loved the Lord which allowed him to embrace life despite his physical ailments. 

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and faithful wife, Kelli, seven children Bryan, Michael, Brandon, Brynea, Kellah, Kyllah, and Bryson; twin grandchildren Ace and Aubrey: devoted mother, Cheryl Flucas, devoted brother, Michael (Karmon) Flucas; loving sister Michelle Flucas; devoted mother and father-in-law, Pastor David R. and Sheila Gilbert; loving aunt and uncle Donna J. Flucas and Terry Flucas (Denise);  one brother in law David Gilbert III; sister in laws, Crystal (Vincent) Mosley; Vanessa (Keefe) Kimball, six nephews, James and Jaison Williams, Kasuan Kimball, David and Davin Gilbert and Vincent Mosley; four nieces Kiara Peterson, Cierra Williams, Gervon and Shevon Kimball; one great niece, Kobi Ingram; special cousins, Chad Flucas (Gayle), Chaunta Floyd and Eric Sherrer; special friends, Naomi Hudson,  Curtis (Monique) Adams, Quincy Davis, Nikki (Dane)Anderson Perrin, Donovan Norvell, Dwayne Moore, Bob Streety, Devin Postel, Mel Tucker and  all of the “89 LOVE CREW” and a host of dedicated cousins and friends.
