Carolyn Geraldine Brown, age 94, of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024. She was born on August 2, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Gerald and Edna Mae Adams. Carolyn was welcomed into heaven by her husband, Clifford Brown, who passed away in 2006. Together, they shared 29 years of marriage.

Carolyn sincerely loved her family. She was a loving mother to her two children, Michael (Cheryl) Adams and Stephanie Jordan; her sister, Phyllis Hill; a proud grandmother to her two grandchildren, Shellyn Alsup and Caprice Adams;  great grandchildren, Shaunte (Bryce) Stokes, Chazz Alsup, Darrien Alsup, Damien Alsup, Cameron Thompson, Andrea Alsup, Adriane Alsup, and Christopher Grand; 5 great great grandchildren, Sanai Butler, Bryanne Stokes, Drake Sowell, Bryce Stokes Jr, and Ariya Thompson.

After graduating Roosevelt High School, Carolyn attended Sinclair Community College and worked for Wright Patterson Air Force Base for 34 years. In her retirement, Carolyn enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.  She was an active member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for 35 years. Carolyn was a dedicated member of the Dayton Community known for her kindness and generosity.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Clifford Brown; father, Gerald Adams; mother, Edna Mae Adams; brother, Gerald Adams (June Boy) and Albert Adams; and one niece, Crysta Baker.

Carolyn will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
