Ceopha Beach, Age 73, Ceopha was born November 16, 1950, in Greenville, Alabama (at Stabler's Infirmary), and passed away on July 18, 2024. A devoted father, brother, grandfather (“PaPa”), uncle, and friend, Ceopha was a pillar of strength and love in his family and community.
Ceopha was preceded in death by his parents, John Ceopha and Lyvert Beach, as well as his brothers, Grady Beach and Michael Beach.
His children survive him: Daymon Ceopha Beach (Muneera) of Walnut Creek, CA; Johnathon A. Beach and James C. Beach of Denver, CO. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Avery J. Beach, Cashen M. Beach, Kiyah T. Beach, and Emery J. Beach, all of Denver, CO, and Naima D. A. Beach of Walnut Creek, CA. Ceopha’s surviving siblings include his sister, Glenda Thomas (née Beach), and brothers, David Beach and Glenn Beach. Many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews will dearly miss him.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Wayman Chapel AME Church, 3317 Hoover Avenue, Dayton, OH. Pastor Gerald A. Cooper will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM before the service. A repast will follow the service at Wayman Chapel AME Church.
