Cleam Charles Caldwell Sr., sunrise was June 20, 1925 in Bradley, Arkansas and sunset was July 13, 2024 in Dayton, Ohio. Cleam was a devoted Christian that loved the Lord. Cleam retired from Leland Airborne Products and served in World War Two Navy. Cleam taught the bible to all his children, grandchildren and many other children throughout his life span. Reading the bible and teaching the word was one of the best things that he loved to do. If you started talking about the Lord, then you had his attention and he was ready to chime in. Cleam was a quiet loving man, a wonderful husband and a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren. Cleam was one of a kind and will truly be missed.
Cleam was preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Mary Liza Caldwell, five siblings, daughter Cynthia Hunt and granddaughter Ericka Caldwell. He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife of 71 years Mary Ruth Caldwell; his three children Kime (Keith) Patton, Cleam (Sherri) Caldwell Jr. and April Caldwell. Sister Luberta Caldwell-Allen; Eight grandchildren Steve (Tabitha) Hunt Jr., Elesa (Daryl) Thomason, Rodney Armstrong Jr., Shannon (Charles) Baker, Randall (Juantee) McGriff, Maurice (Brittani) Armstrong Jr. and Marki (Renisha) Miller-Dokes, Brittany Caldwell and Cleam Caldwell 3rd and 23 great grandchildren. Special nephew J.C. Caldwell and Chad Green, special nieces Robyn (Billy) Twyman, Tina Green, Twila Wallace and Rev. Katie Wilson; Special sister-in law Annie Wallace, Special family friends Mrs. Willa Lyes, Aisha Bowie and Donald Lane; faithful godson Elder Donnie (Dwana) Branch Sr.; fellow Christian Gordon (Helen) Hill and a host family and friends.
