Mrs. Crysta M. Baker age 64 of Dayton, Ohio passed away October 20, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born November 28, 1956 and was a lifelong resident of Dayton.
Crysta was a graduate of Jefferson Township “Broncos” High School class of 1975. She was a retiree of Delphi and worked at both the Wisconsin Street and Needmore Road plants. She was an entrepreneur and opened a clothing boutique “Crysta’s Exclusives” serving the community for many years. Continuing in her call to serve others, she was also a home childcare provider. She also worked part-time at the Trotwood YMCA.
She was baptized in 1967 at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. She sang in the choir and was a member of “The Carmeleers” and also the usher board. After her marriage she joined her husband and became a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church again singing in the choir.
For the past decade Crysta has been an active member of the Phillips Temple Church, again serving in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her father, Timothy F. Hill and brother Nathaniel Fuller (Jamaal).
She is survived by her mother, Phyllis J. Hill, brothers Anthony Fuller Sr. and Phillip Fuller (Zubair). Husband of 27 years Lamon L. Baker, son Jameel Sinkfield, grandson Timothy Sinkfield, granddaughters Mia & Mya Sinkfield. Nephew Anthony Fuller Jr. and a host of others.
