Obituary

Darlene "Lil Bit" Alston, was born on March 6, 1951 to Mary T. and Bennie Smith. She was a resident of Dayton, OH all of her life. On March 5, 2023 she gained her wings Darlene loved to have fun and party with her friends. She loved her Colt 45 as she would say her "Billie Dee Williams.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mary T. and Bennie Smith. Her sisters, Debra Smith and her twin, Charlene Bell Moxley. Her brothers Bennie Allen Smith and Tony Smith.

She leaves to mourn: Daughter, Anita Alston, Dayton, OH, Son, James (Monica) Alston, Sanford, NC. Sister, Elaine (Philip) Kinney, Dayton, OH. Grandchildren, Damian Alston, Sanford, NC, Marquan Johnson, Dayton, OH, Tiana Davis, Greensboro, NC. Two great-grandchildren Marquan Johnson Jr., Lexington, KY and Mya, Dayton, OH; an aunt, Frances Saunders, Dayton, OH A special friend, Samuel "Cookie " Stockton. Other special friends, Jesse Smith, Joyce Atwater, Kim Hopkins. A special caregiver, Monica Camp and a host of other family and friends.
