David Razor Obituary

David E. Razor, Sr. was born October 20, 1962 in Owingsville, Kentucky to Al and Charlene Razor. He attended Residence Park Elementary School and graduated from Jefferson High School and the Miami Valley Career Technology Center class of 1981 (Brick Masonry Certificate). David confessed Christ and was baptized at an early age at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. He was a faithful, and devoted member of Canaan Baptist before joining lI Thessalonians Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon and Trustee Boards. David loved to sing and two of his favorite songs were: "There's a Lily in the Valley', and Something About the Name Jesus."

David served in the United States Air Force (1981-1984) where he held the position of Security Specialist earning many medals and accolades. David held several positions in the food industry at various restaurants within the city. He also worked for The Harper Construction Company for over 20 years. He worked at Anchor Fabricators, Inc. until his health began to fail.

David was a loving, caring, son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend with a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. He had been an avid bowler for years and a true Pittsburg Steelers fan.

David never met a stranger, or anyone who stayed a stranger for long; if he had and was given an opportunity to talk to you for a few minutes you became friends for life. He had a contagious deep down laugh that could be heard all over. He always greeted you with a kiss, a strong hand-shake and a bear hug. David loved life, he loved children and people and he truly loved his family. He will be remembered for his kindness, laughter and the immense love he had and shared with his family and friends.

On Sunday, October 26, 2025 David answered God's call and transitioned from this life to his heavenly home.

David is preceded in death by his father, Brother Al Razor; sister, Gloria Young; brother, Reverend Ernest Razor and brother, Gregory Johnson.
