Delores Wright, 66 of Dayton passed away April 8, 2026 from a sudden illness. Born in Dayton to her parents Mozell and Caroline Starks on November 6, 1959. Delores went to Whittier Elementary and graduated from Dunbar High School. After high school, Delores worked at several jobs including DESC, Yoder Die Casting, Miami Valley Hospital and Forestview Healthcare for over 20 years. Delores met and married her husband of 41 years, Reginald Wright Sr. on July 14, 1984.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Mozell & Caroline Starks, 3 brothers Henry White, Willie F. Starks & Willie J. Starks; 2 sisters Dorothy Thompson & Carolyn Starks.
Delores is survived by her husband Reginald Wright Sr.; 2 sisters Edna Jones & Johnnie M. Starks; 2 daughters LaQuisha (Joaphar) Wright and LaShawnda (James III) Bailey; 1 son Reginald (Farrah) Wright Jr. 19 grandchildren: Myana, James IV, Jerome, Deven, Christopher, Cameren, Erin, Briana (Bailey), Evannah, Evaiah, Ean Reginald III, Regan, Rayah (Wright) Jamyla, Terrionna, Terry Jr, Cartier and Cherish also a special childhood friend Juanita West.
