Mrs. Wright spent her formative years in Dayton, graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1958. She dedicated thirty years of service to Dayton Public Schools, where she touched countless lives with her warmth, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to education.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 31 years, Arthur Thomas Wright, and her brothers: Malcolm David Robinson, Sr., Richard Lewis Robinson, Jr., and Michael Joseph Robinson, Sr.
She is survived by two sons: Arthur J. (Shusletta) Wright of Huntersville, North Carolina, and Kevin L. Wright of Trotwood, Ohio; one daughter, Lisa M. Wright of Dayton, Ohio; and six grandchildren. She also leaves behind cherished memories with her sisters Frances (Lucin) Minot of Chino Hills, California, and Barbara Hudson-Banner of Englewood, Ohio; brother Anthony J. Robinson of Trotwood, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, cousins, and many dear family members and friends, including her devoted companions Linda and George McDole.
Donna was a devoted sister to her six siblings, nurturing strong family bonds and offering unwavering support throughout their lives.
She was a proud and dedicated mother and wife, faithfully attending countless track meets, athletic events, music recitals, ballet performances, junior military competitions, educational milestones, and Masonic events. Her presence was a constant source of encouragement and pride for her children and grandchildren.
She served on the St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church Joint Charity Tournament for seven years and was deeply committed to community service, always seeking ways to support others in their pursuit of meaningful engagement and connection.
Admired by many for her beauty, style, and grace, Donna carried herself with elegance and dignity. Polite and courteous, she had a warm presence that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. A lover of fashion, she wore each outfit with the poise and confidence of a professional model—a nod to her earlier days modeling for Sears clothing store.
A devoted member of Deborah Chapter No. 19, O.E.S., for 35 years, Donna also served with Truth Guild No. 2, H.O.T.C., for 22 years. She was honored as Past Grand Princess Captain by the David V. Moore Grand Guild, Heroines of Templar Crusades, State of Ohio and its Jurisdiction, as of July.
