Dorothy Mae Greathouse, age 79, was born on March 28, 1946, in Talladega, Alabama. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Hospice of Dayton. Dorothy was a woman of faith and service. She was a devoted member of Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church for over 25 years under the leadership of Pastor Hence C. Coats. In her later years, she worshiped at Greater Harvest Baptist Church under Reverend B.L. Peterson. Dorothy had a joyful spirit and a deep love for Bingo. Her favorite moments were spent surrounded by her family. She worked for over 20 years at Monarch Marketing before retiring, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and hard work. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Ida Mae Greathouse; sisters, Brewtricia Lowe, Mary Louise Greathouse, and Debra Booker; brother, Dwight Greathouse; and son-in-law, Steven White. She leaves to cherish her memory Children Brewtricia Greathouse-White, Deanna Prince-Carter (Bo), Michelle Greathouse, James Greathouse (only son). Sister-in-Law, Laura Greathouse. Grandchildren Janon White-Adams (Anthony), Tony Robinson, Aundray Robinson (Yolonda), Shar’Da Fambro, Willie Huff III, Jesica Goines, Janel Greathouse, Ja’Mere French, Michelle Keith, Kendall Jackson Jr. ( Ciara), Jasmyne Jackson, Mercedes Phillips, D’Adrienne Booker-Carter. Great-Grandchildren Darius, Justin, Alexis, Tony Jr., Aubrielle, Terron, Ken’Trell, Miles, Amani, Aundray II, Ja’Mere Jr., Jahoyde Jr, Ayden, Emmett, Amir, Derron, Carter James, Harper Rose, A’Saud, Eli, Khari, Pa’larius.
