EDDIE LEE COSPY, SR.

He was born on April 14, 1952 in Carrollton, Georgia to the late Edward and Elgean Cospy.He peacefully departed this life at home on June 5th 2026.

He Retired from Montgomery County Department of Sanitation after many years of service. Eddie also worked many other jobs and he was also known as a, "jack of all trades".

He was a faithful servant at Faith Deliverance COGIC under the leadership of Supt. Norman McDuffie Jr. and Dr. Terence O. Hayes Sr. for many years.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle to his loving family that he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Elgean Copy; his mother in law Helen McDuffie; His grandparents; brother, Jerry Cospy; sister, Wilma Vinson; 2 nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Eddie leaves to cherish his memory his devoted and loving wife of 51.5 years Robin L McDuffie-Cospy, 5 sons, Eddie Jr. (Veester) Cospy, Lawrence Cospy, Michael (Sharita) Cospy, Charlie Cospy Norman (Cheri) Cospy; 3 daughters Maria Cospy, Marcia Cospy and Marcha Cospy; 4 sisters Alinda Kirk, Toni Jackson, Angela King and Regina CospyFord; 3 brothers Derbwin Cospy, Anthony (Bertha) Cospy, Michael (Danielle) Cospy; Father in-law Norman McDuffie Jr.; 23 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 4 aunts, 1 uncle, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
