Mr. Edward Bernard Jr., also known as “Eddie Mack or Forty” age 65 of Dayton, Ohio transitioned to be the Lord on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Dunbar Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born October 27, 1955 and was a lifelong resident of Dayton. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Sr. and Jennie L. Bernard of Dayton and son Shawn Bernard.
He attended Jefferson Sr. High School class of 1974 and worked numerous years at Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority. He had a gift of gab and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Edward leaves to honor his life of (4) sons, TaDeeChee “TJ”, Edward “Boo”, K’Day, Jermaine “Cone”; (2) brothers Clifford (Starlyn) Bernard of Trotwood, Ohio, Erroll Bernard of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; (2) sisters Sharon Bernard; Pamela Bernard of Dayton, Ohio and one Uncle Dr. Anthony Whitmore. He was blessed with 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and long-time friends Johnny and Brenda Dubose of Las Vegas, Nevada and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
