Edward L. Middlebrook Obituary

Edward Lee Middlebrook 79 of Dayton OH affectionally known as “Moose” gained his wings on December 1, 2022, at The Laurels of West Carrollton.


Edward is preceded in death by his parents Rev. Joseph and Ella Middlebrook, adopted parents William and Mary Craft Sr., Son Edward Lee Middlebrook Jr., daughter Kim Capps, brothers Johnny and Robert Middlebrook, and his loving companion dog Moose.


Edward leaves to cherish daughter Ella Bell of Dayton, loving niece Cynthia Hayes (Caregiver), dear brother William (Peggy) Craft Jr., sisters Phyllis J. Hayes, Robin Craft-Bell, Marcia (Lynn) Gray, Cheryl (Michael) Williams, and host of nieces and nephews that cared for him deeply.


Edward attended Paul Laurence Dunbar class of 63, where he was part of the All-American league.  He proudly served in the United States Navy and then began and retired from Delco GM after working for 40 years.  His hobbies included building and collecting model trains and cars, photography, music.
