Elizabeth D. Rice went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 20, 2024. Born March 22, 1936 to Arthur and Ethel Taylor in Greenville, South Carolina.  She worked many years for General Motors.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Ethel Taylor, husband Clyde Rice, siblings James Taylor, Mabel Miller, Pauline Dawkins, Willie Taylor, Barbara Ann Pollard, Joe Taylor, Lorene Taylor and Robert Vernon Taylor, grandson Dennis Taylor.

She is survived by two sons Clyde Jr. Taylor (Sherri Taylor) of Dayton, OH and Damon Davenport Sr. (Sharon Davenport) of Las Vegas, NV, brother Jerrold Taylor of Cowpens, SC; special granddaughter Shaton Wess of Dayton, OH, Best friend Maxine Harris of Dayton, OH, 5 devoted step children, numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Elizabeth loved and cherished her family, friends & siblings and would do anything to help them if she could. She loved cooking, playing cards and listening to music. She also loved all of her clothes and shoes. She will be truly missed by many of her devoted nieces, nephews, family & friends.
