Ernestine “Tina” Hayes
8/25/1954-5/10/2020
On Mother’s Day, Ernestine “Tina” Hayes took her last Earthly breath. Tina was born on August 25, 1954. She was preceded in death by her mother Carrie Hayes, her father Earnest Hayes and her brother Glenn Hayes Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory with her three sons, Christopher (Dominique Briggs) Hayes Sr., Antonio Hayes and Jermaine (Kel) Hayes. She also leaves her eleven grandchildren, Toni, Mehki, Braylen, CJ, Justin, Phoenix, Lennox, KB, Austin, Jerimiah and Rayshawn; and two step-grandchildren Alaijha and Jahmari. She leaves behind three siblings Beverly Jackson, Vickie (Walter) Byrd and Larry (Charlstella) Hayes; there are also a host of nieces and nephews.
She worked for Good Samaritan Hospital and Maria Joseph for many years. She always thought of others before herself. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She enjoyed life and she liked going to church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
