Evelyn T. Thomas, age 84 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Born October 17, 1989, to Rev. Bennie L. and Theresa E. Thomas in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Evelyn was the middle child of 3 children. She began her career in Education in Port Gibson, Mississippi.

Upon moving to Dayton, Ohio she joined the Trinity M. B. Church where she was a faithful member for over 50 years. She served in the choir, created the church bulletins and programs, and was an active member of the Sunday School class. Recently she joined the Bethlehem M. B. Church where she was faithful until her death.

Preceding her in death are her parents and brother, Bennie L. Thomas, Jr. and daughter, Wendolyn S. Thomas. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Learlyn L. Thomas, 6 grandchildren, one great granddaughter; a host of other loving family members and friends.
