Frances Dorene Burchfield, age 76 departed this life peacefully on Sunday April 13th 2025 at her home in Dayton, Ohio. Born November 19, 1948 in Fort Worth, Texas to Bernice (Father) and Elizabeth (Mother) Brown. Frances married Otis Burchfield at the age of 17 and shared 46 years of love before his untimely passing in 2007. She is survived by her sister Beritta and three of her four children, Robert Michael and his wife Heather; Coranna Dorene, Aaron Christopher, and Brian Timothy and his wife Robin. She leaves to cherish her memory 18 grandchildren and just as many great-grandchildren who loved and will miss her intensely. Frances dedicated her love to her fur babies and passion for her flower gardens and both brought a smile to her heart and face, roses and peonies were her favorite. Family friends and others whose life Frances touched are invited to the H.H. Roberts Funeral Home (38 S. Gettysburg Ave.) from 10:00 - 11:00 on Monday April 21st 2025 (immediate family may arrive as early as 9:30 a.m.) to gather, reminisce, grieve and support one another. Burial ceremony to follow at the Dayton National Cemetery (4400 W Third St.) where Frances will finally being rejoined with her beloved husband Otis Burchfield after 18 long awaited years.
