Henry D. Anderson Sr.

Henry DeForest Anderson, Sr., age 87, peacefully passed into eternal rest on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Henry was born February 29, 1936 in Dayton Ohio to Henrioda (Orr) Anderson and Nathaniel Anderson.

Henry was self-employed where his joy was in his work, he literally worked from sunup to sundown. Lawn and yard maintenance was the bulk of his work. His former clients still comment about how they value and miss his quality of work!

He was self-taught on all facets of home, automotive and lawnmower maintenance and repair skills.

Henry was a very loving father, preceded in death by his parents: brother Earnest, infant daughter Cheryl Marie Anderson and son Eugene DeForest Anderson.

He leaves to cherish his memory: sister, Daisy Reynolds, sons: Henry Jr (Twanda) and Nathaniel: granddaughters, Cheryl Anderson, Cherisse Anderson;  grandson, Nathaniel Matthews, Julius (Andrea) Anderson; Great granddaughters (Robynn, Riley and Raven) Great grandsons, (Lacrel and Donaven);  A host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
