Obituary
Herman D. Anderson Jr. was born August 7, 1957. He was born and reared in Dayton, Ohio. He passed away at home February 27, 2023.
Herman had a very interesting life and saw many things both in his childhood, his time in the United States Coast guard, and in his later years. But the one thing he always noted was that people were people. There are good people, there are bad people. There are people you can save and people you can’t. But above all those things God sent his son to die on our behalf that means all life is a gift from him. We owe it to him to enjoy it, cherish it, and not let others teach us otherwise.
Herman often followed this rule of his by laughing a lot and in turn taught many others to laugh through their tears too.
Herman is preceded in death by his wife Jocelyn R. Anderson, brother Westley E. Anderson, father Herman D. Anderson Sr., and many dear friends.
Herman is survived by his mother Joan Anderson Johnson, son Joshua D. Anderson, many relatives and many more friends.
