Herman Henry Howard

Herman H. Howard, 86, of Dayton, Ohio went to his heavenly home on September 8, 2021 after an accident. Herman was born October 31, 1934.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah and Henry; wife Leona Howard; sisters Dorothy Wing and Margarette Thomas.

He is survived by his daughter Kendra Howard-Steele; grandsons: Gregory Patterson , Edward (Staci) Steele III, Christopher (Amber) Steele and 4 great-granddaughters: Dariah, J’Myah, Kenli and Ariauna. He also leaves to cherish his memory, brother Charles Thomas; two goddaughters: Donna Johnson and Lisa Thomas.

He was an Air Force Veteran. He retired after many years as a housing inspector for the City of Dayton. He was an advent bowler where he went by the nickname of “Ringo”. He loved to travel, take pictures, and was known for his craftsmanship for home improvement.
