Janice Lynann Lee (Warren), age 81 peacefully passed away Friday, February 28, 2025 surrounded by loving family.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois to Edna Taylor and Howard Warren. Janice was a graduate of Roosevelt High School class of 1961. Janice was a former employee of McCall's Paper Factory and later retired from Montgomery County Clerk of Courts after 28 years.
She was a member of Corinthian Baptist Church attending regularly until Covid and health no longer allowed her too. She loved to dance and sing (whether she knew the words or not). You could often hear her singing and humming at her desk and in the work hallways. She also loved spades and solitaire. She always hosted spade parties.
Janice was feisty and if she didn't agree with you (which was a lot) one of her favorite sayings was, "oh fiddle faddle." Janice loved her family and enjoyed cooking/hosting holiday dinners for her huge family. She would also bake cakes/pies for her children/grandchildren's birthdays until she no could longer do so.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Dean Lovelace and David Taylor, Aunt Dorothy Robinson, grandson Timothy R Byers, Jr., granddaughter Kiante' Lynnann Naomi Lee, niece Sheree Lynnann Lovelace.
Janice is survived by sister Dale Lovelace, daughter Karmel (Robert) Jenks, sons David (Ina) Lee, Dwayne Lee, Darin Michael (Gretchen) Lee, Donnie Lee, 28 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren, close cousin Gwen Thompson and bonus daughter Pamela Young. Many other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends who she loved beyond measure.
