Jeanette Rich Adkins, passed away on September 12, 2024. She was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late parents of William G. Rich and Minnie Rich James. Jeanette lived a full life and was blessed to remain active throughout her life.
She was a graduate of Dunbar High School Class of 1946 and a long time employee at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, retiring with 50 years of service. Jeanette was a phenomenal cook, she enjoyed creating extravagant desserts and specialty dishes for others.
Jeanette is survived by her loving children: Daryl C. Adkins and Antoinette L. Adkins, and son-in-law E. Dean Martin; grandchildren Derrick (Antwanette) Adkins, Overton, Texas; Ondrea Martin, Dayton, Ohio; Allison Adkins, Atlanta, Georgia; sisters Virginia Allen and Beverly Bailey, Dayton, Ohio; and sister-in-law Corliss James. Special niece Judy Jackson. Jeanette is survived by many extended family and loving friends.
She is preceded in death by daughter Terri D. Adkins; sisters Stella Bayless and Betty Woodward, Dayton, Ohio; and brothers William (Bill) Rich and Bobby James.
