Jimmy Fincher Obituary

Jimmy Fincher left this earthly home on Sunday, December 4, 2022. He was the oldest of three children. He was born on April 17th, 1958 to Sarah Fincher and Earl Jimmie Coker. He attended the public school system in Fort Wayne, Indiana and continued his studies at Indiana Technical College.

On May 16th, 37 years ago he married the love of his life, Myra. He spent 30 years as a civilian employee at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, where he retired in 2016. Jimmy’s entrepreneurial spirit went to work each winter as the owner/operator of Reliable Property Management Jimmy also spent countless hours volunteering at the Food Pantry and making food deliveries. Jimmy had an amazing sense of humor. He was a man of few words, but those words were always the truth and many times made you laugh. The things that made him happiest were enjoying time with family and friends.  Jimmy also loved spending time with his beloved dog Tucker, fishing with his dear friend Gary Greathouse. Jimmy had an enormous loving, caring heart. He exemplified what God has called us to be, a light in this dark world, leaving a legacy of strength, kindness, and love.

Celebrating this legacy of a life well lived are his mother, Sarah Fincher, wife Myra, sons Alexander (Zach Antil) and Tyler (Sara), grandson Sebastian, sisters Debbie Fincher and Janet Fincher, and a host of nieces and nephews. As well as, many other family members and friends.
