Joan Carolyn Brown, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt went home to be with the Lord on November 7, 2024. She was born in Crestline, Ohio on September 12, 1937, to Charlie and Teresa Brown. 

She attended Crestline High School. She retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Joan enjoyed bowling, politics, going to the casino, and spending time with her friends and family. 

Joan was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Teresa Brown; Life partner  William Morton. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister Charlotte Shields, her son Gregory Brown, daughter-in-law Martha, six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, special friends Brenda Beaumont And Dollie Hairston. Along with a host of other family and friends. 

In her life, she lived every day to the fullest. Joan was a very outgoing woman who brought many laughs and great times to all around her. She was often described as the life of the party. Joan had a passion for family, and loved to share her infectious smile with anyone she was around.
