Joy Glover, 66, of Miamisburg, was born on February 16, 1958.  She passed into eternal life on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

She was a life-long Daytonian and graduated from Dunbar high school.  She worked at NCR and later at the Dayton Metro Library before her retirement. Joy was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and she served in the Woman of Wisdom ministry.

Joy leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 27 years Reverend Larry Glover and sons Bradley (Shandrial Sanders) Allen and Keith (Cathleen) Allen; step daughters, Shanna Glover and LaKesha Nance; grandchildren Emilio Benedict, Isabella Brown, Delainey, Kaylani and Amani Allen and brothers Barry (Frances) and Brett Cook.

Preceding her in death are mother Reverend Martha Hargrove and step-father Andrew Hargrove, father Robert Cook, sisters Christina Cook and Sandy Ellis, brothers Chris, Ivan and Randall Cook, Vincent Gordon. Son Roshad Allen has also preceded her in death.
