Karen Williams (Lynch) Obituary

Karen Denise “Niecy” Williams Lynch, daughter of the late Nathaniel and Betty Faye Smith Williams, was born on March 27, 1961. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was a brother Nelson Danny Smith

Niecy accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at the Church of God Sanctified, Dayton, OH.

She graduated and received a diploma from Patterson Cooperative High School in 1979; attended Central Piedmont Community College, Charlotte, NC and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Wilberforce University, Wilberforce, OH in 2000.

Niecy was employed with Universal Technology Corporation, Wright Patterson Air Force Base for 7 years; Dayton Public School System 15 years, General Motors Corporation, Delphi Division, Vandalia, OH 11 years, Daymont West, Dayton, OH 4 years and certified as an early childhood daycare provider 4 years.

She was a believer in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and as believers, we will see her again. Her presence on earth is greatly missed by her family and friends, and we take consolation in knowing that someday there will be a great reunion with all family believers who have gone on before us. This earth is not our home; we all are just pilgrims passing through as we continue with our faith and hope in Jesus. God's Words tells us that He extends an invitation to everyone to join Him also in heaven where we will be able to see her again. We know not the day or the hour, but His Word tells us also that we must be ready, as well, when the summon comes.

Niecy peacefully went home to be with the Lord leaving to cherish fond memories,  a beloved son Darren Nunn, Cincinnati, OH; a sister Angela Williams Burgess, Spartanburg, SC; nephews Shawn (Kristina) Smith and Terrence Smith, Dayton, OH; and Andre’ Burgess, Charlotte, NC; great-nieces and nephew Gracious Smith, Jasmine Smith, Jada Smith, Jai’Lin Hammond, Ter'Ryeon Howard and Jordan Cammon, Dayton, OH; goddaughters Porsche Armstrong and Shennika Lynch; godson Dominique Abernathy; aunts Dorothy Smith Pruitt and Vivian Smith (John) Teamer, Spartanburg, SC; Darlene Williams-Smith, Bronx, NY;  special and devoted cousins/nieces Linda Gail Parrish, Sheila (Minister Timothy) Wilson, Minister Barbara Golding and Valerie Mills, Marquita Lynch, Sherita “Redd” Lynch,-Dayton, OH;  close lifetime friends Denise Abernathy, Thelia Alexander, Denise Armstrong, Carol Hammond, Cynthia Jackson, Sherra McClusky and Delores Wright; lifetime friend Jesse R.
