Kathy L. Charles

Kathy Lynne Charles, age 60 moved from her earthly home to her Heavenly home on Friday, April 21st, 2023. Kathy was born May 13, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio to her parents Roy and Ollie F. Coleman. She was a resident of Dayton and surrounding areas. Kathy graduated from Jefferson High School class of 1981, The home of the mighty Broncos Her pride and joy was her son, Anthony Charles Jr.

She was diagnosed with Heart failure in 2013 and after numerous hospital visits, Kathy was referred to the Ohio State Ross Hospital to receive an LVAD, a left ventricular assist device. The device was guaranteed to help for up to 3 to 5 years, Kathy being the fighter throughout the years surpassed that number and had just reached a 10-year mark with the use of the LVAD.

She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member of Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Kathy continued to be an active member, even as her health declined.  

Kathy will forever be missed and loved by so many. She leaves a host of family and friends to cherish her memory.
