Kenneth Pinkard, Jr. was born to Mrs. Elizabeth and Mr. Kenneth Pinkard, Sr. on December 13, 1938, in Wedowee, Alabama.
Kenneth grew up in Wedowee, Al., until his family migrated north and settled in Dayton, Ohio in 1952. He attended and graduated from Roosevelt High School Class of 1956. He attended Kentucky State University and returned to Dayton, Ohio to work at General Motors, Inc. Delphi Chassis in 1968, as a Job Setter for 30 years before retired in 1998.
Kenneth married the love of his life Bernice on April 10, 1976 and began their journey in life together until his departure on March 12, 2025. Together they had a son Brian Scott Pinkard.
Kenneth gave his life to the Lord, became an active member and sat on the Deacon Board for over 20 years at Bethel Church of God in Christ.
Kenneth loved giving back to his community and loved children. He would coach youth sports in Trotwood Madison Little Leagues for Baseball and Basketball.
He is preceded by his parents Elizabeth and Kenneth Pinkard, Sr., brother Jesse Pinkard, Aunt Annie J. Sawyer.
He leaves to cherish his beloved and devoted wife of 49 years Bernice Pinkard, Children: Ronrick Sullen, Deancia Brown, and Brian Pinkard, two Grandchildren: Denita Brown and Muffin Brown, three Great Grandchildren, Sister in-law: Eleanor Ruth Pinkard, Nephews: Dante’ Pinkard, Justin Pinkard, and DaVontae’ Pinkard, God-Children: Todd Crosby, Thaddeus Crosby, and Myesha Grubbs, host of Cousins, extended, and Adopted family.
