Kevin Jackson was born February 3, 1964 in Toledo, OH to the union of Melvin Dennis and Earline Mosley Jackson. He passed away August 31, 2024 at Promedica Toledo Hospital in Toledo, OH.

Kevin was baptized at an early age at Inspirational Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral ship of the late Rev. James Clay Adams. He was a graduate of Macomber Whitney High School, Toledo, OH. Kevin was an employee of Dayton Progress for 36 years.  He enjoyed spending time barbecuing for family and friends, attending car shows, and refurbishing antique cars.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, paternal and maternal grandparents, sister Loretta Roberts, and nephew Vyshawn Roberts. 

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 36 years, Doris Boddie Jackson; daughter, Alicia Roshing; son, Kevin Jackson II; granddaughter, Mackayla Cleveland; siblings, Wardell Jackson of Columbus, OH, Diane Jackson, Ida Jean Jackson-Thomas, Brenda (Stan) Crooks, Marvin (Earline) Jackson, Norman (Margretta) Jackson all of Toledo, OH; special friends, Beau Johnson, Otis Allen, Tyrone Williamson, Sherman Cooley, Charles Henry, Brian Hinton, Will Hinton, Rainey Wortham, Bobby Jackson and sister-in-law, Nell Jackson-Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
