Kyle Eugene Ash Kyle Eugene Ash was born on November 15, 1962, in Dayton, Ohio, to the union of Lena and Leroy Ash. He was the fourth child and baby boy of the family. He departed this life on Tuesday, March 23rd in Columbus, Ohio, after a sudden brief illness. Kyle attended Jefferson Senior High School where he was a member of the marching band and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kaplan University.
He enjoyed music, his family and having a good laugh. In his older years, Kyle became quite the politico tuning in each night for the evening programming on MSNBC to include Ari Melber, Joy Reid, Chris Hayes and Rachel Maddow. He was also quite the sports buff, tuning in to NBA basketball and football whenever good games were on.
Throughout his adult life Kyle worked in a variety of fast-food establishments and was always a good, hard worker, exhibiting a work ethic he learned from his parents. He loved the holidays and the chance to get together with his family and was always such a help preparing the food for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. His menus over the last few years grew in their uniqueness as he encouraged the family to try on new dishes. And his trash-talking during family games are a thing of legend and brought smiles to our faces. Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Leroy, oldest brother, Michael, and oldest sister Teresa. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Lena, sisters Karen and Portia, nephew, Solomon, niece, Qiana, two grandnephews, one grandniece and a host of cherished cousins. Kyle will be missed tremendously by his family, his smile and hearty laugh will forever be a cherished memory for all of us. We will miss our daily check-ins and our cherished holiday traditions.
