Elder L.C. Carter Jr. "June" Age 67, graduate of Jefferson High School, Class of 1975, was born May 23, 1956 to the parentage of the late L.C. Carter Sr and Jessie Carter (Stevenson). L.C. accepted Christ into his life in 1973 at Bethel COGIC. L.C. volunteered for the Jefferson Fire Department during the late 70s and early 80s. L.C. also leaves behind 4 loving brothers: Richard & Carolyn Scott, Joseph & Amy Goolsby, Brian Goolsby and Larry Harris and long-time brother-friend Charles Hutchinson.
LC retired as a Dayton Public School bus driver with 23 years of service in the community.
LC never met a stranger and had a laugh that lit up a room. He was a pleasure to talk with and is known for his great conversation. LC loved Dayton. He could tell you how to get anywhere and had memories to talk about in every part of the city. LC loved the Lord, going to church, helping others, fellowship and good food. He always had words of encouragement and compassion for everyone.
