McIntosh, Lamanuel Sr., 60, went home to be with the Lord on November 10, 2020 after a short illness at Miami Valley Hospital. He is preceded in death by his mother Willie L. (Ligon) McIntosh. He leaves to cherish his memory loving father James McIntosh, loving and devoted wife Carla (Alford) McIntosh, loving son Lamanuel (Tyra) McIntosh, Jr., grandchildren Mauricia and Daniel McIntosh, loving father-in-law Willie Alford, loving sister-in-law Chertia Alford, loving brother-in-law Brian Alford, loving brothers Ellerbee (Jackie) Robertson, James (Renee) McIntosh, loving sisters Bettye (Robert) Chamberlain, Denise Bussey, and Jackie Mosley, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Close friends Morton Branham, Ronald Henry, Maurice Harden, Kerry Lynch, Lyndell Young, Lawrence Winston, Lyle Cole, Wayne Russell, Joe Martin, Reggie Johnson, Larry Stephens, and Dwight (Bam) Thomas, and Xonerale Freeman. Special cousins Erica McIntosh, Francine Madry, Dennis Ligon, and Johnny McIntosh. Family was very important to him. He had a big heart and cared about others. No matter what was going on, he could always make you laugh. Lamanuel had a great passion for music and playing the piano. He loved his church and enjoyed singing in the choir and with the Men of Christ. He was employed at Kettering Medical Center for 33 years. He was a faithful member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Dunbar High School class of 1978. Private Graveside services (FAMILY ONLY) will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 at 11:00am, at West Memory Gardens.
