Lester Applin Obituary

Lester Lee Applin, Born in Rome, Georgia raised in Springfield Ohio and then moving to Dayton Ohio to marry Ruby Applin (his wife for 63 years) Lester Applin served in the United States Navy during World War II and retired from the Dayton Power and Light Company in 1982. Lester’s wife Ruby and son Ronald Applin preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister-in-law Bernice Applin. Lester will be remembered by his special children and grandchildren Regina Holman (Vernon); Olivia Hester (Charles); Lynnette Campbell (Stanley) Joannie Edmundson (Ed); Edward Roberts (Mysheika); Erienne Roberts and Darryl Walker, Ronald Applin II; Myron Applin (Sherrell) and Annette Applin. Goddaughters Lynn Davis and Adrienne Pitts. Favorite nephew Ronald C. Applin (Connie) of Springfield Ohio. Private Interment and Military Honor Services were held.
