Linda Woodard Obituary

Linda Woodard was born March 25, 1959 in Richmond, Indiana to the late Donald Woodard, Sr. and Barbara Drewery. She moved to Dayton as a teenager where resided for the rest of her life. She passed away on October 13, 2020 at her home.

She was currently employed at Alpha & Omega Building Services where she spent time in Environmental Services at University of Dayton and Premier Health. She previously worked at ABM and Aetna Cleaning Company.

She was an active member of Corinthian Baptist Church where she participated in Sunday School and other church activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Anthony Woodard; her grandparents and a special aunt, Phyllis Bates.

She is survived by her children: Otis Woodard (Nicole) of Richmond, Indiana; Sherica Johnson (Karlon, Sr.), Anthony Johnson, Daysean Driscoll (Shamari), Raylin Holloway, Paulene Somerset; brother, Donald Woodard, Jr.; sister Zita Cochran; grandchildren: Sha’Tavia, Jeremiah, Aijah and Karlon, Jr.; special friends: Pamela Davis, Kim Scott, Shirley Martin, Nora Young, Annette Dillard, Katherine Vineyard and a host of other relatives and friends.

She enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking and she had God given gift for hospitality and she made people feel at home. She was extremely generous and would give her last to someone in need. She dearly loved her children and her grandchildren and will be missed.

The King will reply, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40
