Mark E. Wilson, age 61 of Wiesbaden Germany, was born in Dayton, Ohio on September 18, 1960. He transitioned from this life to be in the presence of the Lord on March 28, 2022.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise Wilson, maternal grandparents Polly Mae Fuller, John Louis McKinney and Margaret McKinney; Paternal Grandparents Fred and Sadie Wilson.
Mark leaves to cherish his memories his only son, Timothy Wilson of Wiesbaden Germany whom he loved so very much, and the mother of his child, Marion Fehlinger-Wilson. He is survived by his father, Edward T. Wilson, and his siblings: Stephanie (Stewart) Halfacre of Tipp City, OH; Elizabeth (Stanley) Crawford of Selma, AL; David (Nina) Wilson of Dayton, OH; Stephen Wilson of Dayton, OH; Karen Houston of Tampa, FL and Leonard Wilson, our cousin of Dayton OH who was raised with us as our little brother. Mark had a special friend of over 31 years in Germany, Larry Doc Watkins. When you are friends for that long, you become brothers. Mark is survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mark attended Dunbar High School in Dayton Ohio and graduated in 1978. He joined the United States Army and his occupation while serving was Logistics. His journey took him to Wiesbaden Germany where he lived for over 40 years. He enjoyed coming to the states to visit with family and friends. He was full of laughter and loved a good debate, he was always willing to listen in the end. He would end the debate by saying I know what you’re saying BUT…. Lol. Mark worked as a security guard for German companies at American sites including military bases and the U.S. Consulate.
Mark will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
