Our Father

Matt Chever "Cheese", age 71 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at home. He was born on February 12, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Florine C. Hughes (Mattmommy). Mr. Matt Chever was a very proud retired employee of Dayton Public Schools Transportation (City of Dayton) and Heidelberg. Preceded in death by his sweet Aunt Marilyn Smith, Columbus, OH. Our Father, Matt is survived by his loving daughters: Angel Chever (Desmond Terrell), Mattrina Moon (Donald Moon), Salome’ Carroll; 5 grandchildren: Desmond II, Tra’Keith, Antonio, Dawn and Willow. Deeply-Loving Columbus Ohio Family: Uncle John, Uncle Bobby, Uncle Leslie, Aunt Dellie, Cousin Traci, Cousin Angela and Cousin Robin. Special Friends of many years: Kenny, Pat and Peanut, Betty (Sherlock); Cheryl Gregory (our Mother) and a host of friends from Dayton Public Schools Transportation. Matt, our Father was the most loyal Cleveland Browns fan, ever! Dad, we will all miss you forever! We love and appreciate you for life. Per Matt’s request, no service will be held.
